Hacienda JuricaHotel [ * * * * * ]Queretaro (Queretaro), Paseo del Meson Sur Norte![]()
Conveniently set in the suburbs of Queretaro, this 182-room hotel was built in 1969 on the grounds of 16th-century Colonial estate. It resembles a traditional hacienda, with three buildings arrayed around courtyards, patios, and an outdoor pool.
Before the Spanish Conquest, the area of Jurica, where the Hacienda Jurica hotel is actually located, was discovered by the Tarascans, native of that region who decided to call it Jurica which means “place of well being” because of the beauty of its thermal and crystal clear waters. Originally a magnificent hacienda from the 16th Century with its classic colonial architecture, arches and volcanic stone walls, the Hacienda will take you on a journey back to the times of the Spanish conquest. |
